The Great Candy Debate
As long-time subscribers to this blog may have noticed, I really love food. I love talking about food, learning about food, and of course, eating food. There are so many great debates among foodies, and they all elicit strong opinions from people. A glance at the Culinary Discourse (doesn't that sound fancy and academic?) gives us these classic debates:
Is a hot dog a sandwich?
What's the best candy bar?
Does a tiny umbrella in a frosty beverage make your drink taste better? (I say yes to this one).
These are all great questions to ask. I, however, will ask one that makes people launch a full-on food fight but is also seasonally appropriate.
My opinion on the matter is this. Although Trick or Treat Moon makes candy corn look adorable, I'm not a fan of the taste.
A Cat Tail
What's better than a Halloween cross stitch with all the colors of Halloween? I say it every year, but it's worth saying again. The colors on Trick or Treat Moon are absolutely perfect.
After a trip to the craft store to replenish a very lovely purple floss, I finished the cross stitch on the cat's face and tail. Notice how I don't say, "I finished the cat's face and tail," because there is an absolute ton of backstitch in this chart that will easily take me the rest of my lifetime to finish.
If you look on the upper right-hand side, you can see a new piece of orange candy too!
Ambiance
Need some spooky ambiance in the background? This is nice. Definitely what my Castle looks like right now. While it does have a certain spooky beauty to it, I will admit that it does make it difficult to get delivery drivers to knock on the door. I mean, who wouldn't want to come here?
